Local mother "thanks" poinsettia thief

Letter to the Editor:
I just wanted to wish a very Merry Christmas to someone that has touched my life during this joyous season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. That person would be the one that has stolen the white poinsettias that I placed on my son's grave last Tuesday. By Friday they were gone. In the past I have placed items on his grave and they have been stolen in a short time. His flowers for Memorial Day were taken the same day. I hope that every time you look at the white poinsettias in your holiday decorations that you are proud of yourself, knowing that you stole them off of a grave. And I hope that when someone pays you a compliment on your beautiful poinsettias that you are proud enough of your actions to say, "Yes they are beautiful. I stole them off of a young soldier's grave."
Again, Merry Christmas to this wonderful human being.
Sincerely,
Connie Gullett
