Local dog owner thanks good Samaritans

To the editor:
     I'm writing this letter to say a big thank you to the nice lady and passenger who stopped after striking my dog.
     It happened on June 9th, south of Berrysville, on State Route 73. Another thanks to Carol, who held up traffic so the dog could be removed from the road. She was kind and concerned enough to stop by to check on my dog the following day.
     To all involved, I want to let them know my dog has made a full recovery – amazingly! It's good to know there are still loving and caring people who took the time regarding my dog.
