Family of Everett Griffith thanks medical personnel, community

To the editor:
Four years ago, Everett Griffith fell and injured his spinal cord, causing him to lose partial control of his body. His age and other medical problems caused a decline in the physical parts of his body but not his mind or spirit. He never lost his sense of humor and his ability to communicate with all he came in contact with. He was a witness to all and an inspiration to us.
He passed away on March 5 this year and we will miss him, but angels are rejoicing now because a child of God has come home. Thanks for the many prayers and to everyone that has helped our family in any way over the past four years.
We thank our church family, our friends, our family, lots of medical personnel, various hospitals, nursing homes, doctors and nursing staff, Chillicothe Regional Dialysis Center, Veterans Hospitals, Reverend Tom Zile, Reverend Curtis Randolph, and Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home.
