Lebanon OSHP Post investigating Interstate 71 shooting

Lebanon – The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Interstate 71 in Warren County.

At 10:49 a.m. on November 10,  a 911 call was transferred to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lebanon Dispatch Center.  

The caller advised his vehicle had been shot on I-71 southbound near mile post 40, in Warren County.  

The caller provided a description of the suspect vehicle.  Troopers located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on I-71 near Kings Mills Road.  

Investigation revealed the driver, Faizon Quartez White, 22, Columbus, shot at the victim’s vehicle while both were driving on I-71 southbound in Warren County. The victim’s vehicle was struck once. The victim was not injured.

Faizon Quartez White was arrested for felonious assault, a felony of the second degree, and discharge of a firearm on a highway, a felony of the third degree. Mr. White was incarcerated in the Warren County Jail.

The Lebanon Patrol Post was assisted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
