Since 2016, especially since November of 2016, those of both parties, particularly the Democrat party members, who don’t like President Donald Trump, have thrown up one roadblock after another, attempting to destroy his presidency.
Nothing has stuck to him. In fact, in all cases, the accusers have ended up looking petty, childish and in some cases, treasonous.
Undeterred, they continue to attempt to derail him and his administration.
The COVID-19 virus response is just the latest attempt to put President Trump in a bad light. It has turned out to be just as political as “Russian collusion” and the Gen. Flynn situation, which Trump has correctly labeled “Obamagate.”
We have six months until the presidential election. Do not expect the noise and fury from the left to diminish. It is clear the Democrat party and their friends will stop at nothing to derail this president, our republic and capitalism. Their current attempts to destroy the U.S. economy in the name of the coronavirus is just the latest evidence that they care nothing for the country or its citizens.
Just this morning (May 15), the Heritage Foundation is out with a well-documented article showing that 1% of the counties in the country are the location of half the coronavirus deaths. This same article states that New York and New Jersey alone account for 35% of all cases and 44% of COVID-19 deaths, while they contain only 9% of the U.S. population. Further, 10% of all counties account for 95% of COVID-19 deaths.
We’ve seen this “Chicken Little” mentality before.
It is particularly pervasive in the environmental movement, sponsored by the left. You know, that doom-and-gloom scenario that says we are all going to die of (global warming, global cooling, boredom) in the next 10 (weeks, months, years) and they have the models to prove it?
Ironically, the proponents of that scenario are the same ones attempting to keep the country shut down right now.
Evil knows no bounds on imagination, so expect the next six months to be fraught with perceived harms (past, present, future) laid at the feet of President Trump.
We have a hint of the next one to come.
It is the Supreme Court decisions due by the end of June on whether or not President Trump’s tax returns will see the light of day. Knowing the left’s predictable reaction, the actual decisions on revealing or not revealing his tax returns are immaterial.
If you are struggling to keep up, let me help you.
If they are open to public scrutiny, the left will say, “Look what we found here,” which will be a statement about possibly anything. If the Supreme Court decides to keep them private, the left will say, “It is a dark day for justice in America when the Supreme Court is afraid of Donald Trump.”
Since 2016, the left’s objective has been to get rid of President Trump. Their failure to inflict harm on him has been infuriating to them, and they have shown they will stop at nothing to continue their quest. The continuation of this stand is a certainty.
President Trump, despite the flurry, has been a bulwark of solid purpose, namely, protecting the citizens of the United States.
Should President Trump fail to win re-election, expect a President Joe Biden – if he survives the Democrat’s Zoom Convention, to resign shortly into his first and only term.
In fact, a backroom deal sealing this scenario may be the only way Biden can zoom through the nomination process. It will be wise to watch who Biden’s handlers pick for vice president. For if Trump fails to win the November race, Biden’s veep will be our president, likely less than a year from now.
