Jamieson named 2022 WGCA All-American Scholar

Four Buckeyes are among the 1,485 All-American Scholars announced by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Tuesday.

Redshirt freshman Jillian Bourdage, freshman Faith Choi and juniors Kristin Jamieson and Kailie Vongsaga earned recognition by meeting the stringent minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and playing in at least 50 percent of the rounds played by the team.

Jamieson, a Hillsboro High School graduate and the daughter of Jeanine Bagshaw and David Jamieson, is a three-time OSU Scholar Athlete and two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She has also been named Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (2021) and Ohio State’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree (2020-21).

Bourdage and Vongsaga are two-time OSU Scholar Athletes and were named Academic All-Big Ten this spring. Choi was named an OSU Scholar athlete in 2022.
