Indians drop 2 games over weekend

The Hillsboro Indians' boys basketball team dropped two South Central Ohio League games over the weekend, with losses to the Washington Blue Lions and the Clinton-Massie Falcons.
The two losses move the Indians to 0-5 in the SCOL and 3-8 overall, with HHS falling to the Blue Lions, 61-48. The Indians fell to the Falcons on Saturday night, 56-53 in overtime.
In the Friday night game at Washington, the Indians were led by Jordan Captain with 16 points, followed by Zach Young with 10 points.
HHS trailed 37-18 at halftime.
On Saturday night, the Indians lost in overtime as they were outscored 11-8 in the OT period.

HHS trailed 14-13 following the first quarter, and following a 12-6 second frame where the Falcons outscored the Indians, HHS trailed 26-19.
CM won the third frame 11-9, but the Indians led the fourth to force OT with a 17-8 quarter.
Captain led HHS with 17 points and 20 rebounds (seven offensive).
Austin Bagshaw followed with 12 points, Young with nine points and Alex Van Zant with six points.
Latrell Haithcock totaled five points, while D.J. Brown and Trey Moberly each scored two points. Moberly also collected 11 rebounds.
