The Hillsboro Indians continued their stellar play in South Central Ohio League competition Tuesday as they dominated the Clinton-Massie Falcons, 156-191.

HHS junior Austin Bagshaw was three under par with a 33 for the match.

"Austins's three under par was fantastic," HHS head coach Dan Spidel said. "He has been incredibly steady all season and is able to focus better than anyone else on the team."

Alex VanZant followed with a 39, and teammate Jacob Deatley scored a 40. Travis Wehrung finished with a 44. Also for HHS, Cole Reveal scored a 46, and Christian Green totaled a 53.

"This was the first round Alex has been in the 30s at home this year," Spidel said. "He, too, has been very consistent, and the same goes for Jacob.

"Hopefully this round will give them some confidence, and we will see them below 160 more often. It was a great match."

Clinton-Massie was led on the links by Jeremy Marburger and Cade Kienle as each player scored a 47. Other CM scores included: Thomas Carter (48), Jake Burnham (49), Drew Kienle (56) and Chaz Halloran (62).

Hillsboro plays McClain Wednesday at the Hillsboro Elks.
