Indians boys soccer blank CNE in scrimmage

BATAVIA — The Hillsboro Indians boys soccer team participated in a scrimmage Thursday night, scoring three goals in their one half of action to defeat the Clermont Northeastern Rockets, 3-0 at CNE High School.

Brandon Wilson scored two goals and Jordan O'Conner scored once for the Indians' 3-0 victory.

The JV team played in the second half, keeping CNE scoreless.

"Our boys played great for being the first scrimmage of the preseason," HHS head coach John Weber said.

The Indians will host a SCOL vs. SHL Soccer Preview this Saturday starting at 5 p.m.

Hillsboro will play Lynchburg-Clay at 5 p.m and Fairfield at 7:15 p.m on Saturday at Richards Memorial Field.

Saturday, Aug. 13 at Richards Memorial Field (Hillsboro)

5 p.m. — Lynchburg-Clay vs. Hillsboro

5:45 p.m. — Fairfield vs. McClain

6:30 p.m. — Peebles vs. Washington

7:15 p.m. — Fairfield vs. Hillsboro

8 p.m. — Lynchburg-Clay vs. Washington
