Hillsboro softball season closes

The 2013 softball season for the Hillsboro Lady Indians came to a close on Saturday, as they were defeated by Fairfield-Union by a 4-3 score in their Division II SE District Sectional final contest.

HHS ends the season with an 8-15 record, as they went 1-1 in the postseason, defeating Washington by a 9-6 score earlier in the week in their sectional semifinal matchup in Hillsboro.

Seniors for HHS included: Taylor Moberly, Katie Baker and Amber Everhart.

This season was a four-game improvement in the win column for the Lady Indians as they had four wins one season ago.[[In-content Ad]]
