Hillsboro loses at Chillicothe

The Hillsboro Indians lost for the fourth straight time and seventh time overall this season, as they dropped a South Central Ohio League game to the Chillicothe Cavaliers, 49-0 Friday night in Chillicothe.

The Cavaliers (4-1, 7-1) scored 14 points in each of the first three quarters for a 28-0 halftime lead and a 42-0 lead after three quarters. CHS added one final score in the fourth quarter.

HHS totaled 140 yards on 63 plays offensively as they had one turnover in the game.

HHS was 0-for-17 on third down conversions and 0-for-8 on fourth down conversions.

Hillsboro quarterback Toby Warrington completed four passes and led the Indians with 45 yards.

Leading CHS in rushing was Markel Cain with 146 yards on seven carries, while scoring three touchdowns. The Cavaliers totaled 482 yards of offense.

The Indians will host the Washington Blue Lions next Friday in the Indians' final home game of the 2013 regular season. CHS will host East Clinton next week.
