Hillsboro Lady Indians tennis falls to Wheelersburg

Saturday afternoon saw the Hillsboro Lady Indians host the Wheelersburg Lady Tigers in non-conference action, with the visitors winning all five matches at HHS. 

In first singles, Maria Nolans (WHS) defeated Scarlett Studebaker by scores of 6-0, 6-1. In second singles, Emily Janney (WHS) won against Hillsboro’s Savannah Sexton at 6-1, 6-1. The third singles match saw Jocelyn Conley (WHS) defeat Hillsboro’s Kallie Sharp at 6-0, 6-0.

The first doubles team of Emma Brinkman and Aby Jones (WHS) won against Hillsboro’s Aly Johnson and Keyle Johnson at 6-1, 6-2.

The second doubles match ended with Avery Lowery and Brooklynn Howard (WHS) defeating Brianna Bowen and Jenna Hart of HHS at 6-0, 6-3.
