Hillsboro Indians wrestle at Hammer & Anvil

The Hillsboro wresting team traveled to Western Brown High School this past weekend, where they wrestled at the annual Hammer & Anvil Tournament.

HHS had two first-place finishers, with Kordell Ford going 5-0 at 160 pounds and Ryan Kelley also going 5-0 on the day at 120 pounds.

HHS finished in 10th place as a team.

Toby Warrington went 3-2 at 126 pounds for fourth place, while Matt West was 3-1 in the tournament for a second-place finish at 113 pounds.

Cody Whaley was 1-2 on the day, as was teammate Curran Butler.

Also wrestling at the event, but not gaining a win, were Lane Hester, Jed Asmus and Austin Miller.
