The Frontier Athletic Conference (FAC) Championship was held Friday, Feb. 18 at Jackson High School, where wrestlers from Hillsboro and McClain of Highland County took part in the conference event.
Winning the team championship were the Miami Trace Panthers with a score of 258.0, followed by the Chillicothe Cavaliers with a score of 145.5. The host Jackson Ironmen were third with a 140.0 score, followed by the Washington Blue Lions in fourth place at 127.5. In fifth place were the Hillsboro Indians with a 61.0 score, and in sixth place were the McClain Tigers with a score of 25.0.
Finishing in second place in their respective weight classes for Hillsboro were Jonah Wilson (106 pounds), Kylan Brown (120 pounds) and Gary Reno (190 pounds).
McClain’s top placer was Ethan Hill (190 pounds) in third place.
