Jackson hosted the first Frontier Athletic Conference girls golf match at Franklin Valley Golf Course on Monday, Aug. 15.
The Hillsboro Lady Indians were third overall with a score of 257, with the McClain Lady Tigers finishing two strokes behind them for a fourth-place score of 259.
The event was won by Chillicothe with a low score of 180, with the host Jackson Ironladies in second at 213.
Rounding out the scoring were Miami Trace in fifth (261) and Washington in sixth (285).
The Lady Tigers were led by Abbie Lovett, who shot a 60 in the match. Jacolyn Bolender finished with a 64, followed by Cariann Todd with a 66.
Other final scores for the Lady Tigers included: Kate Barrett (69), Avery Murphy (71) and Kallie Posey (78).
The Hillsboro Lady Indians’ top finisher was Kathryn Cluff with a low score of 56. Emma Yochum was next, shooting a 61, and Hailey Phillips shot a 69.
Also for the Lady Indians, scoring included Grace Watson totaling a 71 and Reagan Leeth shooting a 74.
For the Chillicothe Cavaliers, the meet medalist was Isabella Fischer, who shot a 40. Julie LeMaster followed with a 43, and Meryl Haller shot a 46. Finals also included Mikayla Spaulding (51), Addison Smith (52) and Maddy Ward (69).
Jackson Ironladies scores included: Aubrey Arnold, 43; Taylor Mullins, 53; Alia Rippeth, 56; Schuler Murray, 61; Sabella McCarty, 77; and Katelyn Williams, 78.
The Miami Trace Lady Panthers’ individual scoring included: Emily Reeves, 52; Audrey Mullins, 69; Hannah Cummins, 70; and Izzy Deskins, 70.
For the Washington Lady Blue Lions, final totals were: Faith Wynne, 59; Tevyn Carter, 71; Alyson Foster, 76; Gwen Duncan, 79; and Claudia Fuller, 81.
