The Hillsboro Indians boys golf team gained a bit of revenge from earlier in the season by defeating the Washington Blue Lions, Tuesday, 160-169 at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course.

Earlier in the season, it was the Blue Lions who defeated the Indians by one stroke in Washington C.H., for the Indians' lone South Central Ohio League loss.

This time around, at their home course, the Indians were the ones who left as victors.

"This was a great match," HHS coach Dan Spidel said. "There was plenty of suspense and anticipation leading up to it, and both teams played well. The SCOL tournament should be very exciting."

Hillsboro's win over Washington puts the Indians in the drivers seat for the SCOL tournament on Saturday at The Club at Quail Run in Washington C.H. Tee time is 1 p.m.

Austin Bagshaw, once again, led the Indians with a 33.
