Village of Lynchburg announces utility bill for 2012 will decrease 5 percent

By
-
At the Sept. 15 Lynchburg Village Council meeting Ordinance 2011-11 decreased the trash collection rate.

On Oct. 13, Ordinance 2011-17 reduced sewer rates.

This decrease was achieved through bidding out the trash contract, which was awarded to a local contractor, and deregulation of electric has allowed the village to contract its electric use. Both of these factors have allowed the village to pass along the savings to its residents.[[In-content Ad]]
