Spend more time ON your business instead of IN your business 
Business owners assess their business today and strategize for future 
in hands-on workshop
Southern State Community College is teaming up with the Center for Entrepreneurship at the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs to offer a 3 hour workshop titled “Listening to Your Business.” The program, a part of the FastTrac® family of programs, is designed to give owners tools to plan for the future by taking a snapshot of the current business, evaluating where the owner is in the planning process and translating goals into action steps. 
This workshop is targeted to entrepreneurs who often get caught up in their own company’s daily operations and do not take time to plan for the future. In essence, it’s for the entrepreneur who spends all their time working IN the business rather than ON the business. FastTrac’s Listening to Your Business workshop will provide business owners with the tools they need to spend time ON their business to plan for the future.
The workshop costs $29 and will take place on January 21 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and on January 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Both sessions will be held on the South Campus of Southern State Community College in the Appalachian Gateway Center, located at 12681 U.S. 62 in Sardinia. FastTrac® is a family of programs of the Kansas-based Ewing Marion Kaufman Foundation, which is the largest organization in the nation to focus solely on entrepreneurial success on all levels. The program is being offered with help from the Southern State Community College Enterprise Center, Cincytech, the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, the Adams County Chamber of Commerce, the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, the Brown County Ohio Chamber of Commerce, TechGROWTH Ohio, the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
