The Highland County Board of Realtors held their annual RPAC (Realtors' Political Action Committee) auction this week following a luncheon at the Ponderosa Banquet Center in Hillsboro.
According to Jill Yochum, the board reached its RPAC goal for the seventh consecutive year. Yochum explained that RPAC funds are used to lobby lawmakers on behalf of property owners and Realtors.
Several items were auctioned off, including artwork, a Poulan chainsaw, a carrot cake, and numerous gift cards and gift baskets.
