PUCO sets local hearings on modified AEP electric security plan

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has scheduled local public hearings to provide consumers an opportunity to express their views on AEP-Ohio’s modified electric security plan application.

Meanwhile, the city of Hillsboro has filed a motion to intervene, according to PUCO Communications Director Matt Butler.

The local public hearings are scheduled as follows:

Canton
April 26, 2012 at 6 p.m.

May 1, 2012 at 6 p.m.

50 Town Square, 1st floor

AEP-Ohio filed a modified electric security plan application with the PUCO on March 30, 2012. In the application, the utility proposes a plan for the supply and pricing of electric generation service through May 31, 2015.
