Poll shows Kasich holds edge over Strickland

Former Congressman John Kasich leads incumbent Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll for July.
The Rasmussen poll shows Kasich, a Republican, with 48 percent of the projected vote. Strickland, a Democrat, has a 43 percent rate among projected voters.
Kasich holds a strong advantage among male voters and Strickland holds a slight lead female voters, the poll said.
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
