Homeland Credit Union welcomes Brandon Mitchell as mortgage loan officer

Homeland Credit Union is pleased to announce that Brandon Mitchell has joined the Mortgage Department as a mortgage loan officer, bringing more than two decades of banking and lending experience to the role.

Mitchell began his banking career in 2003 as a teller and has since held a wide range of positions across financial services. His experience includes roles such as assistant head teller, assistant BSA officer, bookkeeping and office manager and loan processor/compliance associate. 

In 2013, Mitchell transitioned fully into lending while at another institution, marking the start of a career focused on helping members navigate a variety of loan types. He has also worked as a private mortgage broker, further expanding his expertise in mortgage lending.

Mitchell initially joined Homeland Credit Union in July 2022 as a Senior Financial Services Representative and Loan Officer. In October 2023, he transitioned to the Collections and Special Accounts Department, gaining additional experience supporting members through complex financial situations. In March 2026, he moved into the Mortgage Department, where he now serves members as a mortgage loan officer.
