A Hillsboro woman indicted on six drug charges earlier this year as a result of a Highland County Task Force investigation was sentenced recently to community control.

Billie Jo Saddler, 46, was charged with three counts each of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, all third-degree felonies, during the March Highland County grand jury session. The indictment was initially made secret until Saddler’s arrest in May.

According to court records, Saddler pleaded guilty to two of the trafficking charges June 30, with the remaining four counts dismissed.

Those charges alleged that or about July 30 and July 31, 2024, Saddler “did knowingly sell, or offer to sell,” meth in an amount equal to or exceeding bulk amount but less than five times bulk amount.

Saddler was sentenced Sept. 10 by Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss to three years of community control. She was ordered to successfully complete residential career for substance use disorder and any recommended aftercare.

In addition, Saddler was ordered to pay $480 in restitution to the Highland County Task Force.
