On April 20, officers investigated an underage party where juveniles were consuming alcohol in the 200 block of West Pleasant Street. Charles M. Davis, 21, of Hillsboro, was arrested for obstructing official business.
On Sunday, April 22 at approximately 10:18 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from the Hillsboro Fire Department referencing an unknown female at the fire department being very belligerent toward them. Upon the officers' arrival, the officer observed the female yelling and using profanity toward the fire/EMT personnel. The female was asked for her name or ID. She provided a false name and stated she did not have an ID. There was also a very strong odor of alcohol coming from her breath. It was later found that she also lied to the officer and did have her ID on her. The female was found to be Patricia A. Stivers, 55, of Hillsboro, who was charged with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct by intoxication.
On April 23, Michael D. Williams, 22, of Mowrystown, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop.
The Hillsboro Police Department received a call from the 300 block of North West Street. The complainant reported that someone had stolen property from his rented bedroom. This incident remains under investigation.
