Hillsboro Police Report

On March 23, Walmart called and advised they had a male subject detained for shoplifting. Officers arrested Jerry Bray, 26, of Wilmington for theft.

On March 24, Kathleen Burnett of Hillsboro, driving a 2006 Chevy, was pulling into a parking space at Hillsboro Plaza on North High Street and struck a 2007 Honda owned by Jian Dewu of Hillsboro.

James Davis of Hillsboro, driving a 2002 Buick, was traveling east in the 300 block of Chillicothe Avenue when a deer ran into the driver's side of his vehicle, causing damage.

Paragon Inn of Hillsboro reported a theft of a microwave from one of their rooms.

On March 25, Terence Williams of HIllsboro reported items were taken from his vehicle while it was parked on Tanglewood Drive.

On March 26, Haley Hayslip of Hillsboro reported that her iPod was taken from her bag at the track field on West Main Street.
