Hillsboro Police Report

On Oct. 6, the Hillsboro Police Department received two reports in reference to counterfeit money being passed in their business. 8up Tattoos and Gold Star Chili were both victims. The counterfeit twenties were turned over to police, and there is an open investigation. Money will be turned into the Secret Service.

Bruce Jones, 44, of Hillsboro, two counts of possession of drugs.
Joni Horsfall, 48, of Wilmington, driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension and open container.
Virgina Chappius of Seaman, failure to yield.
Tara Maxfield, 19, of Wilmington, bench warrant.
