Hillsboro Police Report

The following incident was reported by the HPD.

Oct. 8

Christopher Shope of Greenfield was traveling northbound on North High Street, just south of Hobart Drive. Sarah Wagner made a right turn onto southbound North High Street from Hobart Drive, after stopping at a red traffic signal. 

After making the turn, during acceleration, the rear end of Wagner’s vehicle lost traction and started to slide. 

Wagner then began to travel left in the roadway and into the northbound lane. As a result, Wagner struck Shope causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Wagner was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
