Hillsboro Police Report

On April 10, Fender Realty of Hillsboro reported they had two windows broken to an outbuilding over the weekend.

Joshua Holt of Hillsboro, driving a 1992 Dodge, was north bound in the 700 block of North High Street when his brakes failed, and to avoid striking a vehicle he turned into Noreen's School of Dance and went through the parking lot toward the back entrance and drove over the curb and hit the retaining wall at the North Side Church of Christ.

Vernon Kelley of Hillsboro, driving a 2003 Ford, was eastbound in the area of 309 East Main Street when he lost a tire and rim from a boat trailer that he was transporting. The tire crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Chevrolet that was driven by Michael Sullivan of Hillsboro.

Eve Speakman of Leesburg, driving a 2000 Chevrolet, was backing from a parking space at K-Mart and struck a 1997 Pontiac that was in the aisle and was being driven by Jenny Behymer of Hillsboro.

Wes Gibson of Hillsboro, driving a 2002 Ford, was backing from a parking space on the Walmart parking lot and struck a parked 2005 Ford owned by Randy Nistler of Hillsboro.

Lacy Helterbrand of Hillsboro was arrested for theft.[[In-content Ad]]
