Hillsboro Police Report

On Tuesday, March 29, while making a drug sweep at Hillsboro High School, a Hillsboro Police Department canine unit located contraband items in a vehicle. Jeffrey A. Luce, 18, of Hillsboro was charged with one count each of possessing drug abuse instruments (a misdemeanor of the second degree) and for possession of drug paraphernalia (a misdemeanor of the fourth degree). This incident still remains under investigation.

On Monday, March 28 at 9:13 p.m., it was reported to the Hillsboro Police Department that five mailboxes had bend damaged on Springlake Avenue. The suspect(s) were in a dark-colored vehicle.
