The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for March 23-29.

March 23

Arrests/Citations

Gwendolyn Furtwengler, of Bethel, was cited for failure to file for registration.

Tabytha Wilson, of Hillsboro, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct.

Douglas Neal, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.

March 27

Trenton Hibbs, 24, of New Vienna was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.

Cameron Hedrick, 20, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.

On March 27 at approximately 3:56 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 1400 block on North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, David Elliott, 36, of Hillsboro was traveling northbound on North High Street behind Richard McCarty, 40, of Hillsboro when Elliott allegedly failed to maintain assured clear distance, causing a rear-end collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Elliott was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

March 29

Raymond Helton, 36, of Burnside, Ky. was cited for speed.

Charles Reynolds, 39, of Pleasant Plain was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of West Main Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, it was found that Gerald Kellough, 68, of Chillicothe was backing from a parking spot and allegedly backed into the rear driver side of an unoccupied, stationary vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles.

At approximately 12:18 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 1200 block of North High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, it was determined that Brittany Birkhimer, 18, of Manchester was traveling southbound on North High Street while Kathy Decker, 72, of Hillsboro was stopped in traffic ahead of Birkhimer. Birkhimer allegedly failed to stop prior to striking Decker’s car, causing minor damage to both vehicles.
