A severe thunderstorm watch has been posted for southeast Indiana and southwest Ohio until 1 p.m. Monday, April 4, the National Weather Service.
Highland, Brown, Clinton and Fayette counties are among those in the watch area, the NWS said.
Today's forecast calls for showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. The high will be near 71. Wind gusts as high as 47 mph are expected. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
