Bright Local Schools celebrates with ribbon cutting

Bright Local Schools, located in Mowrystown, celebrated their new field and dedication with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends, and members of the community on April 10. Bright Local Schools is located at 44 N High Street, Mowrystown.
 
Bright Local Schools will use the new spaces for athletics, band, classes, and youth and community events.

The night included recognizing Coach Veidt’s 35 years of leadership and a commitment to the baseball program as well as its athletes. “A huge thank you to our Board of Education, Superintendent Jason Iles, Treasurer Jeff Rowley, the Chamber of Commerce, and all of our community partners who made this project possible.

"Special thanks to AstroTurf as the primary builder, along with Barnett Trucking, Lovins Fence, Stratton Electric, Swango Cabling, Hickory Valley Excavation, Bradds Concrete, Southern Ohio Concrete, TNT Sawing, Kiley Excavating, All Ways Green Landscaping, the Kolton Hamilton Foundation, and Mayor Jim Allen for their contributions and support.”
