The following routes on the state highway system are closed due to flooding:

• S.R. 131, between U.S. 50 and U.S. 68 in Brown County;

• S.R. 124 at Idaho in Pike County;

• S.R. 73 at U.S. 52, west of Portsmouth, in Scioto County; and,

• S.R. 239 at West Portsmouth in Scioto County.

These closures will remain in effect until further notice, and motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited.

In addition to these closures, high water has been reported on state Route 41 in the Tong Hollow Road and Humbolt areas north of Bainbridge in Ross County.

Although the route remains open, motorists are advised to exercise additional caution.

Also, the Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools are on a one-hour delay Wednesday due to high water in some areas.
