“This was a very successful educational event that we were most excited to make available for healthcare professionals in our region, presenting them with up-to-date medical information that we hope will advance the care provided to the citizens in our community and surrounding counties”, said Adena Cardiologist John Young, MD. “Having a state-of-the art facility, such as the PACCAR Medical Education Center, is quite a drawing card for our region as a unique educational venue that is among some of the most modern in the country. The opportunities we are able to provide for continuing education in our region are quite impressive and we are looking forward to providing more programs in the future.”
The planning committee envisions that as the symposium grows, it has the opportunity to serve as a major regional medical education event for physicians and healthcare providers throughout the region.
“This symposium was a perfect example of why the PACCAR Medical Education Center was created,” commented John Gabis, MD, Executive Director of the PACCAR Medical Education Center. “Not only are we seeing educational advancements for our nursing students, but we also have the opportunity to provide high quality continuing education here locally for physicians and healthcare providers in a state-of-the-art facility that in the past has only been available outside our area. I certainly am proud of the resources Adena and the PACCAR Medical Education Center can provide to healthcare professionals in our region.”
