65 Ohio sheriffs – including Highland County Sheriff Randy Sanders – endorse Vivek Ramaswamy for governor
COLUMBUS — Sixty-five county sheriffs from across Ohio today announced their endorsement of Vivek Ramaswamy for governor. The announcement represents one of the broadest public-safety coalitions in a modern Ohio gubernatorial race, with sheriffs from every corner of the state uniting behind a candidate that will always back the men and women who wear the badge.
“Ohio’s sheriffs keep our communities safe and hold the line every single day,” said Vivek. “They deserve a governor who respects their service, listens to their concerns, and stands with them when it matters most. I am honored to have their trust, and as governor, I’ll always have their back.”
Ottawa County Sheriff Stephen J. Levorchick underscored the importance of a governor who stands shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement.
“Sheriffs know who truly supports us and who just talks about it,” said Levorchick. “Vivek Ramaswamy has shown that he understands the challenges we face and that he’ll be there for us when it counts. That’s why I’m proud to endorse him because I know he’ll stand with law enforcement and with the people of Ohio.”
