On Thursday (April 8). the McClain Lady Tigers were the winners of the weather-shortened R.L. Davisson Invitational held at Southeastern High School. The Hillsboro Lady Indians were second overall.
In the girls event, the Lady Tigers were first with a score of 86.33, followed by Hillsboro in second place at 76.50. Also from Highland County, Fairfield was 14th overall with a score of 18.
In the boys event, the Hillsboro Indians were fourth with a score of 53, followed by McClain in fifth place at 42. Also from Highland County, Fairfield finished in 13th place with a score of 20. Adena was the winning team with a score of 81.50.
There were also no results counted toward the final scores for the following events due to the inclement weather: girls 3200, boys 3200, girls 4x400, boys 4x400 and girls discus.
