Holding the lead after each quarter, it was a dominating second frame that put the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats in the driver’s seat, as they traveled to Leesburg and returned home with a Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory over the host Fairfield Lady Lions by a 57-36 score on Monday night.

Playing a near-even first half against each other in the 2024-25 season opener, the Fairfield Lions broke away from their rival Lynchburg-Clay on Tuesday night, having an 18-0 run in the third frame that led to a 64-49 win.
From the 6:43 mark of the first quarter to the final buzzer, the McClain Lady Tigers held the lead against the Fairfield Lady Lions on Wednesday night, eventually winning against their Highland County counterpart, 46-32.
Coming off two consecutive seasons of being a Southern Hills Athletic Conference champion, the Fairfield Lions have to replace four starters from last season as they prepare to take on all comers for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
