The Hillsboro PTO is planning an upcoming Community Fall Carnival. The Hillsboro Eagles Aerie 1161 donated $1,000 toward the event, with the money going toward the prizes the kids will be winning.
The carnival will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 from 4-8 p.m. There will be unlimited games with the purchase of a $10 wristband for kids; prizes for kids; a scavenger hunt; a raffle; 50/50 to help support the PTO and Hillsboro volleyball; a silent auction; a “Haunted Hallway” presented by the Hillsboro Drama Club ($1 to enter); face painting by GNG; an illusionist show by Jake Lindsey at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Imagine That Party Supply selling cotton candy for $1; and food from Poppy’s Hot Dogs, Walker’s Farm to Fork, Carried Away Cafe and Kona Ice.
We couldn’t put this event on without the help from our community and all the sponsors who have donated, as well as Hillsboro staff and elementary administrators.
