Hillsboro Great Oaks sends member to state public speaking competition

Hillsboro FFA Chapter 

On March 7, Hillsboro Great Oaks member Adalyn Gaines competed at the State Extemporaneous Public Speaking. 

Adalyn had to draw a random topic then had 30 minutes to research and prepare a 4-6 minute speech. She then gave this speech in front of three judges who evaluated her performance and asked her questions. 

Adalyn placed 5th in the state. Congratulations Adalyn.
