Hillsboro Great Oaks competes in Floriculture CDE

Hillsboro FFA Chapter 

On Monday, April 13, four members of the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter traveled to compete at the state competition for the Floriculture CDE. 

The team consisted of Adalyn Gaines, Claire Winkle, Grace Allen, and Abby Anderson. The team had to put their skills to the test to identify over 100 plants and tools, rank floral arrangements, do mathematical fertilizer calculations, and design their own bud vases. The team placed 20th in the state.
