Hillsboro FFA members compete in Rural Soil Judging Contest

Three members of the Hillsboro FFA competed in the county and district rural soil judging contest: Grant Crum, Lana Grover and Lauren Grover.  

The county contest was held on Oct. 6 and was open to FFA members from all five county schools. Members judged a total of four pits, took a general knowledge test and then took a test over a survey map.

The District 9 contest was held on Oct. 8, where the team placed 13th.
