Four Bright Elementary students selected for Columbus Children's Theatre's writing project

Four students from Bright Elementary were chosen from more than 1,100 entries to be part of Columbus Children’s Theatre’s 32nd annual Child Writing Project, "You Are What You Eat."

The piece, “Boy Who Ate Dog Food,” written by fourth-grade students Taylor Tolliver and Chase Stults, and the piece, “Fruit Song,” written by sixth-grade students Madison Knox and Aubree Tolliver, were among a select few to be staged and performed as part of Columbus Children’s Theatre’s touring season.

The world premiere of "You Are What You Eat" took place on Saturday, March 19 at Westerville Central High School. After the performance, the student writers participated in an awards ceremony and photo session with the authors and actors.
