Fairfield FFA members attend, volunteer at Ag is Everyone's Business

On Friday, Jan. 22, members of the Fairfield FFA attended and also worked at the Highland County Ag is Everyone’s Business event, held at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro.

This event was hosted by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce.

While there, the Fairfield FFA chapter’s members, along with other FFA chapters from the area, were put to work serving breakfast and coffee. This also included the set-up and clean-up of the event.

After the meal, guest speaker David Daniels, Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, and keynote speaker John Phipps gave speeches on how agriculture is important to the future of our community and also how it has built our community up over the past couple of years.

The event ended with an auction of tractor memorabilia. It was a huge success.
