Fairfield FFA member writes poem about 'How the FFA Changes You'

The following is a poem about the FFA, written by senior Fairfield FFA member Ryan Matthews.
How the FFA Changes You
In 1928 the FFA established a solid foundation.
In 1988 it became an abbreviation.
We will always remember the blue and the gold.
For generations its origins has been foretold.
Inside each of us a farmer is born.
How could you ever forget that symbol in shape of corn.
Being an FFA member isn’t just something you can go and find.
It’s something you must pull out from deep inside.
These will always be the best four years.
Because through FFA we learn to conquer our fears.
Although it may feel like it goes so fast.
You will gain memories that will always last.
People believe AG is just a class but once you walk through that door
You realize this small group of farmers is so much more.
