Altrusa donates books to 577 local sixth-graders

Altrusa of Highland County recently donated books to 577 sixth-graders in Highland County.

Every sixth-grader in Highland County should receive a new book of their own in January from Altrusa of Highland County.

Altrusa continues to promote literacy with the donating of books to the schools and the Little Free Libraries.

Anyone wanting to donate books for children or adults for the Little Free Libraries may drop off copies at Tissot’s Home Center, 206 North Elm Street, Hillsboro.
