Trump names more Cabinet picks

President-Elect Donald Trump has named several more names to fill out his Cabinet as the Trump administration begins to take form.
Trump named veteran and Fox News host Pete Hegseth as secretary of Defense and former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to serve as director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
“From exposing fake Russian collusion to be a Clinton campaign operation, to catching the FBI's abuse of Civil Liberties at the FISA Court, John Ratcliffe has always been a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public,” Trump said. “When 51 intelligence officials were lying about Hunter Biden's laptop, there was one, John Ratcliffe, telling the truth to the American People.”
Trump also named former Congresswoman and current governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem, to serve as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
“She was the first Governor to send National Guard Soldiers to help Texas fight the Biden Border Crisis, and they were sent a total of eight times,” Trump said. “She will work closely with ‘Border Czar’ Tom Homan to secure the Border, and will guarantee that our American Homeland is secure from our adversaries.”
The announcement that has immediately grabbed the most attention is Trump’s decision to name billionaires Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to help with a new initiative.
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (‘DOGE’). Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies - Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement.”
Trump also announced William Joseph McGinley will serve as White House Counsel and Steven C. Witkoff to be Special Envoy to the Middle East.
Those announcements come after Trump had already announced other picks and more are expected this week.
As The Center Square previously reported, Trump named former New York congressman Lee Zeldin, a veteran, to serve as the Environmental Protection Agency administrator.
In addition, Trump chose U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., as Secretary of State and named former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan as his new “border czar.”
Trump also said Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., will serve as national security advisor, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will serve as ambassador to Israel, and Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., will serve as ambassador to the U.N.

Both Kamala Harris and Sherrod Brown need a job. White House staff member, Hunter Biden has the credentials for heading up the IRS, the ATF, or the DEA.
And Tim Walz for Ambassador to Iraq, he always wanted to go there, but never got the chance.

Do not recall the names. So checked the internet and Brinton was the suitcase robber and so called nuclear expert with no credible experience. Levine I do not recall. Certainly did not approve of every cabinet member. By sure luck and market intuition, I am better off today than 4 years ago. Had nothing to do with Biden/Harris except what ever they did wrong, I looked for ways to monetize policy errors, like poor policy in energy. They created trading opportunities in the stock market. Pushed EV's. I traded one coal stock several times. Never a loss. With Trump in charge, there will be opportunities. Energy and real estate are my focus. Inflation may be my best friend if 9 trillion in more debt is added. US dept will require higher interest rates. As to the many clowns each administration puts in, it impacts policies which the markets will evaluate. Not concerned about impacts on Democrats or Republicans personal finances. Call me selfish or heartless. Most Americans cannot manage their personal finances. Only complain. My finances and health are my responsibilites. Not looking for government aide as so many do. I still pay Federal taxes. Except 2023 due to huge mortgage points. Zero. Federal taxes may decrease further under Trump. So I may mock Rudy G. and his mistakes. He created the bed he cannot sleep in. Appreciate the "where was I". AWOL usually on the DC circus topics. More focused on state and local issues in my often crazy comments. Thanks for your critical comments. And Matthew's sarcastic comments. Nice. Sure my absurd comments will not cease.

aide or aid?
There are too many government aides and there is too much government aid.
But if Trump's new Secretary of Defense needs an Aide-de-camp, I'm game.
The people who tour with a rock and roll group, who help set up the equipment, would you call them Band-Aides?

I look for ways to better my family, my friends, my community, and my Country as I try to improve on my own failures. I'd rather consume beef stock than trade coal stock.

Makes No Sense
Most of the appointments are absurd. Confirmation hearings should be hilarious. Will Rudy G. Get head grounds keeper at the White House with a rent free garden shed since most of assets are gone?

The loonie list is long in the outgoing disaster that was Biden/Harris. As the hippes of the 60s used to say, give peace a chance. We had it for 4 years under DJT. The nominees in this story are good ones. Hearing today about Gaetz and the road-kill warrior, they are more suspect.
