4 Them We Fight is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to support communities and families affected by fentanyl poisoning and illicit drug overdoses. The group is dedicated to driving awareness, education and prevention surrounding fentanyl poisoning and illicit drug overdoses, addiction, recovery and mental health.
The display included banners showing images of individuals who have died as a result of overdoses, as well as pictures of those in recovery. The goal is to show there is help and that individuals can beat addiction. Recovery is possible.
For those in recovery show support, you can send a picture with name, dates and location for a banner to show that even though so many have been lost to the drug epidemic, there is help to change your life.
If you have loved ones or friends who didn't make it, you can also submit pictures with their information.
Photos and information can be posted at https://www.facebook.com/groups/4themwefight.
All are also invited to attend Celebrate Recovery on Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. at Highland County Church of Christ, 6670 U.S. Route 50, Hillsboro. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and after that there will be a service.
