2-year-old killed in tractor accident in Clermont County

On Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6:09 p.m., the Clermont County Communications Center received a 911 call from a resident on Misty Lane in Wayne Township, Clermont County, reporting that her little brother had been run over by a tractor.

Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded at 6:23 p.m. and made contact with Wayne Township EMS/Fire personnel on the scene, who confirmed that a 2-year-old suffered fatal injuries from an apparent tractor accident and was not able to be resuscitated.

Detectives from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office responded to interview witnesses and to process the scene.

The Clermont County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and transported the 2-year-old’s body to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.

The investigation remains ongoing.
