Wright State men's basketball adds Bo Myers
Wright State men's basketball head coach Scott Nagy has announced the addition of graduate transfer Bo Myers to join the Raider program.
Myers, a 6-6 wing player, joins the Raiders after a four-year career at Malone University.
"Bo is a proven player with four years of collegiate experience from a very good Division II program," Nagy said. "We love his skill set, feel for the game and ability to guard multiple positions. Overall, Bo is a perfect fit for our culture and will be a valuable addition to our program."
Myers played in 111 career games at Malone, averaging 15.7 points per game while accumulating 1,739 points thanks to a 48.3 percent career overall shooting percentage and a 40.3-percent clip from three-point range.
On the glass, he has averaged 6.3 rebounds per game for his career, including an 8.0 rebounds/game mark in 2022-23. Myers recorded double-digit scoring outputs in 89 career games at Malone, with 34 games of 20 or more points and a trio of games with 30-plus points. His career-high of 40 points came at Lenoir-Rhyne on Nov. 19, 2022.
A three-time All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference selection with a pair of first team nods, Myers was also earned selection on the NCCAA's All-Midwest Region Team twice at Malone.
A native of Rockbridge, Ohio, Myers prepped at Logan High School, where he is the Chieftains' all-time leading scorer and was named First Team All-Ohio in 2019 and Southeast District DI Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
