Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Jack Marchbanks announced Wednesday that Ohio is now the first state in the nation to break ground on an electric vehicle (EV) charging station built as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Thursday announced the future locations of 27 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations that will be installed along Ohio interstates, making Ohio the first state in the nation to announce charging station sites that will be developed as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program.

Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT), Tuesday announced Ohio’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Workforce Strategy, which is a strategic plan created to strengthen and build Ohio’s advanced manufacturing workforce, specific to electric vehicles.
